This week, Los Angeles is one big founder campus. LA Tech Week runs October 12–18, and the official calendar is packed with panels, hackathons, brunches, and mixers from Playa Vista to Santa Monica. On Wednesday alone, attendees counted more than 160 events. The topics people keep coming back to: AI agents that take action, founders making their own AI creative, and getting to market faster.
There's a pattern in all those conversations. The hardest part of starting a company used to be building the product. In 2026 it isn't. With AI tools and agents, a non-technical founder can ship a working prototype in days. The hard part now is knowing what to build and for whom, not getting stuck alone at 11 PM, and actually launching instead of tinkering forever.
That's why LA AI Startup House is built around living and building together. It's a live-in startup program in Hollywood, half a block from the Walk of Fame, hosted by Nikky Kho, CEO of Real AI Dynamics.
Pick your pace. There are three programs: a 3-Day Sprint, a 7-Day Build Week, and a 30-Day Program. Each comes in four levels. Bronze is digital and self-serve, and Platinum is full service with 1:1 coaching. Silver and Gold sit in between. Every package can be tailored by length, tier, and whether you stay with us.
Stay with us if you'd like. Members pay for the program. Accommodation at our Hollywood building is optional and included at no separate charge. If you'd rather stay elsewhere, the price is the same. Every program includes the building's daily continental breakfast.
What a build day looks like: breakfast with fellow founders, a morning standup, a deep build block, a workshop or 1:1 in the afternoon, then demos over dinner. Repeat until you ship. (Schedules vary by program and package.)
Who it's for:
- First-time founders with an idea and no idea where to start
- Non-technical builders (you don't need to code)
- Founders who want hands-on help, not another course
Why Hollywood, why now. Tech Week has a whole panel on AI filmmaking, "Hollywood's New Algorithm." LA is where AI and storytelling are colliding, and it makes sense to build right in the middle of it.
If you're at Tech Week this week: go to the AI Filmmaking and AI Founders' Meetup events on Wednesday, catch the Closing Party on Friday, and write down the founders you clicked with. They're the people you'd want to build alongside next.
Tech Week ends Sunday. The momentum doesn't have to. Start when you're ready. Choose 3, 7 or 30 days, or build your own length.
